We do not support applications for yet more parking in front garden areas, which sterilises the street frontage for essential parking for other users (when the space is unoccupied) and usually spoils the character of the street by removing front boundary walls and gardens. In this case, the property has sufficient width for most of the front garden and front boundary wall to be retained. Thus, we accept that the design/layout is not out of keeping with the character of the area. We would note that, whilst the drawings do not have any dimensions, the proposed space looks shorter than normal which will restrict the length of vehicle which can be accommodated without impinging on the footpath.
